Indian shoppers are receiving more options for digital buying experiences as major regional e-commerce companies investigate blockchain and the Metaverse.
In the game-based and interactive metaverse, Indian customers may test products from brands such as Puma and Nivea. This is due to the release of a metaverse space for customers to locate things in a lifelike virtual location and shop by regional e-commerce behemoth Flipkart.
Flipkart officially announced the debut of Flipverse on October 17, with the goal of bridging the best of online and physical buying experiences.
Flipverse, created in collaboration with Polygon-incubated business eDAO, allows customers to create a metaverse avatar to shop in a virtual environment, bringing customers closer to their chosen brand names.
Simultaneously, brands will be able to construct and grow their metaverse-ready digital twins in the virtual world.
Flipverse will support specific digital antiquities in addition to contests and exclusive brand name bargains.
Flipverse will feature a wide range of brand names, including Puma, Sound, Nivea, Lavie, Tokyo Talkies, School, and others, according to the release. The new purchasing experience will be offered on FireDrops, Flipkart’s freshly launched online retail platform.
